A traditional German style rye bread, this loaf is naturally leavened with a rye starter, toasted sunflower seeds and local fine & coarse rye flours from Anita's Flour Mill, in BC. This loaf is best kept refrigerated and has a 2-3 weeks shelf life. We like the Tonasket Rye sliced thin and toasted with avocado and tomato, slathered with hummus or peanut butter. 2# loaf 100% ORGANIC
