What's New March 2022

Over the years, our donation jar has given back to our local community, with 100% of all funds going to a charitable organization.

In January 2022, $955.02 was donated for the BESD Outdoor Education Fund to help offset the costs of sending students in the Burlington Edison School District to Camp Orkila and Mountain School.

You donated $1131.40 in February 2022 which will go to the Burlington Edison High School Green Club.  This club promotes environmental conservation, awareness and change for our planet, and Sage who works for us is president of this club!  Most recently the Green Club planted 30 trees between I-5 and the high school campus.

All donations in March will go towards the Edison Elementary Labyrinth project where they will install 2 benches, landscaping and a memorial for Jill Bailey, Edison resident & teacher who passed away in January after a 2.5 year battle with brain cancer.

Come see us!  Anacortes Farmers Market is held the 2nd Saturday of each month during the off season.  We’ll be there March 12th from 9a-2p.

Looking forward to longer days, Skagit Valley Tulips, Irish Soda Bread and Chocolate Mint Sandwich Cookies (both will be available March 10th-17th) and what better time than now to pick up a classic MAKE BREAD NOT WAR tee ($25)!

We are honored to be your community bakery. Stay healthy, be the change the world needs.  Your support means the world to us!

Cheers!  Renée & Scott
