P/T FRI NIGHT BREAD PACKAGER
Breadfarm is located in the beautiful Skagit Valley in the village of Edison. We are a celebrated, mid-sized artisan production bakery focused on hand-crafted, naturally leavened breads. We've been in business since 2003, sourcing high-quality local and organic ingredients.
Our bakery has a focus on naturally leavened loaves and European inspired pastry. This is a fast paced job slicing artisan loaves, packing bread & rolls and picking orders for our wholesale customers. We are looking for an experienced, motivated professional to join our team as P/T Fri Night Bread Packager.
YOU: Our ideal candidate should excel in efficiency with the ability to multi-task and work well independently. Being a self starter with strong organizational skills, clean work habits, attention to detail, be kind and care for the products we make. You should be capable and confident of meeting the demands of the job.
THE HOURS: Friday nights from 8:30p-midnight/1a. Availability for Friday nights is required to apply
COMPENSATION: We offer competitive pay, medical/dental/vision benefits, Simple IRA with 3% company match after 6 months, accrue both PTO vacation & sick time, employee discount. a great work environment and a free loaf of bread with every shift.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay Rate: $21.80 - $24.80 per hour
THE DUTIES:
- Slicing/packing breads
- Picking orders for restaurant accounts & our weekly farmers market.
- Inspecting product quality, culling and reporting any unusable items.
- Maintaining a clean, tidy, and organized workspace.
- Completing daily end-of-shift tasks and basic documentation.
- Keeping communication clear and positive with the team.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Current WA Food Handler's Permit
- Ability to read, write and verbally communicate in English.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently.

Able to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding production environment.
- Highly dependable, flexible, and detail-oriented.
- Comfortable performing basic math with ease and accuracy.
- Strict adherence to all health, safety, and sanitation procedures
- Must be 18 +
