F/T RETAIL SALES
Breadfarm, located in the beautiful Skagit Valley in the village of Edison is a scratch bakery with a focus on naturally leavened artisan loaves and European inspired viennoiserie. We are looking for an experienced, motivated professional, who is hoping to grow in the customer service industry as Retail Counter Sales.
We are a mid-sized production bakery focused on hand-crafted naturally leavened artisan breads. We source high quality natural and often organic ingredients, including locally grown and milled flours. Since 2003, our bakery remains dedicated to the quality and integrity of the artisan bread baking processes and creating an environment for our bakers to thrive.
YOU: Be at ease with people, offering excellent customer service. Qualified candidates will work well independently as well as a team, maintain excellent attention to detail, quick basic math skills and operate with a high level of efficiency. Neatness and organization are paramount to this position. Previous retail experience working with high volume sales is desired. And, all our staff must be VAX’D for Covid.
THE HOURS: Breadfarm is open 7 days a week. This is a FT position with 4-5 shifts per week. Shifts vary; 7a-3p, 7a-4:30p or 9a-4:30 and will include BOTH Saturday and Sunday.
COMPENSATION: We offer competitive pay, 401K savings plan with 4% match, paid vacation, paid sick time, a great work environment and a free loaf of bread with every shift.
THE DUTIES: Sales and merchandising of artisan bread, cookies, and pastry at our retail shop in Edison, WA. This is a fast-paced job in a busy, bustling bakery. Experience preferred, but happy to train the perfect addition to our team.
Job Type: Full-Time
Pay Rate: $19.00 - $22.80 per hour
