OPENING #1
PRODUCTION MANAGER:
THIS IS IT!   Breadfarm is seeking a Production Manager for our bread and ancillary (non-bread) departments. We are a small scale, but growing, wholesale/retail artisan bakery located in the village of Edison in the picturesque Skagit Valley of Washington State.   

This is a newly created position overseeing 10-14 bakers from novice to experienced.  The position will provide essential leadership to the production crew and support to owners and co-managers.  You will plan, staff, organize, direct, control and provide ongoing evaluation of the production operations within Breadfarm. 

Duties will be a mix of hands-on production and administrative responsibilities, weighted toward hands-on. 

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 3 years management/supervisory experience
  • 2 years production experience in bread and/or pastry
  • Comprehensive understanding of the theory and science of baking, with emphasis on artisan breads
  • Any combination of training and experience that provides the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities for the position.
