FRESH STRAWBERRIES
with Rosemary Balsamic Reduction

1 pound fresh Strawberries
1 cup Balsamic Vinegar
1 sprig fresh rosemary

Vanilla Ice Cream, optional

Remove hulls from the strawberries, and gently wash, patting dry or air drying on a dishtowel.

In a small saucepan, bring balsamic vinegar and sugar to a simmer.  Once it begins to simmer, add rosemary sprig and turn down heat to the lowest setting so that vinegar is just barely simmering.  Once the vinegar has reduced by half, remove from the stove and discard rosemary sprig.

Let reduction cool and spoon over fresh strawberries.
