     A day in the life of Breadfarm

 

GRILLED BREAD SALAD WITH HONEY CHIVE DRESSING
serves 4

Bread Salad
1 loaf Breadfarm (sliced thick)
1/4 cup olive oil
1 head lettuce
1 bunch arugula
6 green onions
8 radishes
1 small bunch rosemary
4 cloves garlic

Dressing
1 bunch chives
1/4 cup olive oil
1 T honey
1 T sherry vinegar
Salt & Pepper, to taste

Rub bread slices with cloves of garlic and chopped rosemary.  Brush bread with olive oil, salt and pepper and grill to toast on both sides.  Set aside, let cool and then rough cut into 2" cubes.  Rinse and tear lettuce and arugula, chop green onions and radishes, combine into large bowl with grilled bread cubes.  To make dressing, combine chives, olive oil, honey, sherry vinegar, salt and pepper, mixing well to combine.  Toss over salad and serve immediately!
